Please join us on Friday November 17 to celebrate the success of the "Light up the Tower" fundraising project. Because of the generosity of the Chestnut Hill community many improvements to the park area sourrounding the historic Water Tower are being implemented. These include upgraded electrical infrastructure, graze lighting directed at the tower and the restored World War ll memorial plaques, as well as new energy efficient lampposts lighting the walkways. Additionally, the project funded repairs to the flagstone paths, the repointing of the memorial, and the installation of bollards, railings, and added seating. Beautiful plants and flowers have been planted by our dedicated volunteer gardeners, and new signage will display facts about the rich history of the water tower. All of this would not be possible without your support.
Your $50 ticket includes a donation to the rec center, a spread of delicious food, free beer, a cash bar and great dance music by Six Pack, whose members have lived near the Water Tower for much of their lives
